Onder leiding van Warner Bros. Interactive ontwikkelt Snowblind The Lord of the Rings: War in the North voor de PC, de PlayStation 3 en de Xbox 360. De game is opgezet voor een coöp tot drie spelers, waarbij ze hun eigen genootschap vormen en strijden in het Noorden tegen de krachten van Sauron.
De Xbox 360 versie van het spel bevat 46 Achievements, welke samen duizend Gamer Points opleveren.

Create 15 potions in a single playthrough.

Kill 600 enemies in a single playthrough.

Amass 25,000 coins.
