Far Cry 4 werd door velen enthousiast ontvangen, een ervaring die verder werd uitgebreid middels additionele content, verkrijgbaar in een Season Pass. Het lijkt erop dat deze twee binnenkort samen gaan komen in de Complete Edition van de game.
Amazon Duitsland had kortstondig Far Cry 4: Complete Edition in haar database staan voor de PC en de PlayStation 4. De naam verwijst naar de hoofdgame en de inhoud van de Season Pass, te weten:
- The Syringe – can be played solo or in co-op and tasks players to prevent Pagan Min from wiping out the Golden Path
- Escape from Durgesh Prison – Co-op mission that tasks players to escape Yuma Prison Facility
- Valley of the Yetis – can be played solo or in co-op and tasks players to scavenge for tools and upgrades in order to escape a crash landing on a Himalayan ridge
- Overrun – lets players play as Rakshasa or the Golden Path in a new PVP match to seize enemy territory
- Hurk Deluxe Pack – contains five exclusive missions starring Hurk; Yak Farm, Blood Ruby, Hurk’s Redemption and more
Ubisoft heeft nog geen officiële reactie gegeven op het mogelijk vroegtijdig uitlekken van de editie, volgens Amazon te verschijnen op 18 juni.
[Upd.] Ubisoft heeft de Complete Edition inmiddels officieel aangekondigd.
